The perfect eyebrow for your individual look
As experts in makeovers and colour your permanent makeup artist will analyze your face shape to determine the most flattering eyebrow design for you and determine the colours that work with your hair, skin and eyes.
There are two techniques used to create permanent cosmetic eyebrow enhancements :
Hair by hair simulation eyebrows
This eyebrow enhancement gives the impression of fine feathery hair strokes and is the solution for people who have sparse or no hair growth in the eyebrow region, The results are realistic and natural looking.
Colour mist eyebrows
This eyebrow enhancementgives the impression of a soft veil of colour similar to eyebrow powder. It is most suited to people who have eyebrow hair who desire eyebrow definition or the perfect shape. It is the ideal solution for people who have very pale eyebrows as it creates a soft definition beneath the natural hair growth.
Do I have to remove my natural eyebrow hair?
Eyebrow hair does not have to be removed to apply permanent cosmetic eyebrows. Working with the natural hair growth pattern is preferred to removing the hair and redrawing the eyebrows.
If a portion of the natural eyebrow such as the outer tail does not allow your preferred shape, your permanent make-up artist will remove the natural hair in that region and create the shape you want, normally in a hair by hair simulation effect.
The natural eyebrow shape can also be enhanced toward the desired shape by infusing pigment into selected parts of the eyebrow to highlight the particular feature desired.
I am concerned that my eyebrows will look too dark
The permanent makeup artist will normally choose an eyebrow colour one to two shades lighter than your hair colour, unless you are blonde or gray, in which case she will choose a colour one shade deeper. The aim is not to match the pigment to the colour of your eyebrows but rather to create a shadow of colour behind the natural eyebrow hair.
For those people with little or no eyebrow hair the best technique is to use two pigment shades, infusing the colour into the skin as simulated hair strokes to produce an eyebrow enhancement that appears to have dimension. Remember that you have the final choice!
The classic shape
Unless corrective facial balancing techniques are required the guidelines below achieve the ideal eyebrow shape.

A The bulb of the eyebrow should begin where line A passes as if it was drawn in a straight line from the nostril, through the corner of eye and upwards.
B When you are looking forward the arch of the eyebrow should be positioned between the middle of the pupil and the rim of the iris.
C The tail of the eyebrow should end where line c would pass if it were drawn from the nostril up through the outer corner of the eye and upwards.
D The tail of the eyebrow should sit level or slightly higher than the bulb of the brow as indicated in line D
The perfect brow for your face shape
Where corrective facial balancing techniques are required your permanent make-up artist will use the guidelines below to achieve the ideal eyebrow shape.
The round face shape is considered to be lacking angles.

The round face will look more angular with an angled eyebrow with an elevated arch as in the images showing the average eyebrow and the angled eyebrow.
Round flat eyebrows make the face appear shorter and wider.
The square face shape is considered to be an angular face shape.

A defined eyebrow arch as in the images showing the sharp arched eyebrow and the smooth arched eyebrow draws attention to the eyebrow and away from the square jaw line.
Smooth flat eyebrows contribute to the boxy look.
The heart face shape is considered to be wide across the forehead.

The heart shaped face requires a smooth rounded eyebrow arch with no sharp angles as in the image showing the smooth angled eyebrow, in order to counteract the sharp angle of the chin.
Flat eyebrows widen the upper face making it look even more triangular.
The diamond face shape is consider to be wide across the cheek bone region

A defined eyebrow arch draws attention away from the wide mid face as in the images showing the smooth angled eyebrow and the sharp angled eyebrow.
Flat eyebrows direct the eye side to side making the width more noticeable.
A long face shape is considered to be a narrow face shape

Flat smooth eyebrows as in the image showing the smooth flat eyebrows directs the eye side to side adding width to the long face.
High angled eyebrows as in and sharp arches as in the images showing the sharp angled eyebrow and the average eyebrow will make the eyes travel higher up the face which lengthens the face.
The oval face shape is considered to be the classical symmetric face shape

The oval face is considered balanced, and works well with about any eyebrow style.
